Description

Grape variety: Gamay
Soil: Grown on a steep hillside, the sharp slope of hills allows for the ideal exposure to sun rays; the soil is clayey-limestone.

Viticulture:
Vineyard density plantation is of 7200 vine stocks per acre.
The number of treatments is restricted to weather conditions.
The fertilizer input is carried out starting from an analysis of the soils and vine leaves, this is to ensure a better balance between the soil and the vines.

Focused management of vine vigour, leaf removal, topping and yield limitation, for a better ripening and quality of grapes.

Vinification: Grapes hand-picked after ripening, following immediate pressing, with no maceration in order to produce a delicate rose wine, of a beautiful pink-pale colour and great fineness. The fermentation process develops at low temperature, around 14°C.

Tasting notes:
Limpid, beautiful pink rose-petal colour.
Elegant wine, fine and fruity.
Complex on the nose citrus fruits and pips, in fact a complex rose wine, subtle and delicate.
On the palate delicate, fruity with a beautiful finishing of freshness, a really crispy rose wine, generous, with a soft finish of red fruit notes.

Serving temperature: 8 – 10° °C

alc/ vol %: 13

Food-pairing: To be enjoyed with a barbecue, French rillettes or as an aperitif.
